Potential BCS NC scenario (for the hell of it)...

Just for the hell of it...If LSU, Oregon, Notre Dame and Florida State all win out, who do think would be selected for the BCS NC? With our poor performances against unranked opponents, Florida State and Oregon would probably make it in? Maybe LSU vs. Notre Dame in the Sugar? Obviously a lot could happen but it would be interesting to see how this scenario would shake out. Even beating BAMA, our SOS and performance in those OOC games would have to come into play.

In this scenario, Florida State loses out because of their horrible schedule and terrible strength rating of the ACC. IMO

if any SEC team, LSU or otherwise, runs the table at 12-0, they are in. I know, AU 2004 says hello, but in 2004 there was not a 6 in a row streak for the conference. Any SEC team goes undefeated, they are in, no doubt about it.

An undefeated sec team is in regardless.
Real question is who would face them?
ND's schedule and media bias along with a national following more than likely gets them in over Oregon. FSU wouldn't get in over ND or Oregon.

to think that anybody would get in before lsu after lsu would have beaten florida (top 10), south carolina (top 10), aTm (possibly ranked), Bama (#1 team in the country), moo state (probably ranked), the winner of the SEC champ (top 10) and you think we wouldnt get into the national championship because we slept walk against auburn on the road in the SEC and a no name team that we didnt get up for?

If an SEC team such as LSU were to make it through their schedule undefeated,they would be in. It doesnt matter who they beat by how many.

A lot...but I do understand that the BCS system is flawed. I am throwing out a scenario that if 4 teams are undefeated, and LSU has sloppy, unimpressive wins against Ole Miss and Arkansas, there could be unfavorable voting.
