Ultimate Warrior could not wrestle, that is all he could do. I read a book on JYD, he was the same way. It took people like Ted Dibiase to make JYD look good in the ring. The book is called King of New Orleans, if you like Mid South Wrestling it is a must read.

I remember in college me and my buddy I worked with went to ECW shows at the Great Hall in BR, and One Man Gang was there one time. And we freaked the frick out...I remembered that dude from when I was a little kid, and there he was, still swinging his chain around. He was old and could barely walk, but he was still doing it. It was awesome.

My understanding now as well and that Warrior wasn't the most skilled wrestler. Actually he and Sting were bodybuilders that were approached about being wrestlers.

I even have an appreciation for the heels I hated in my youth, especially Bobby Heenan. I watched his entire introduction in the WWE Hall of Fame. It is broken up into 3 parts on youtube. But if you are a wrestling fan from this period of time, you must watch it. Bobby Heenan kills it, and even had my eyes tearing up in the end. A true legend.

Bobby Heenan Part I

Bobby Heenan Part II

Bobby Heenan Part III
