Should Les have pulled all the starters as motivation?

Given that the starting 11 players were clearly unmotivated and unfocused while playing Townson (especially on offense), do you think Les should have blown a gasket, and taken all 11 starters out and put in the second team really early in the game just to send a message or whatever? I've heard of college coaches doing this.

Maybe... but CLM clearly checked out of the game midway through the 3Q, much like 1/9

it wouldn't have bothered me and i'll bet he thought about it. but each game has specific goals that they want to accomplish and miles wasn't gonna give up on those. it's a shame copeland got hurt but he wouldn't have been in there if those goals would have been accomplished.

shite, we actually needed the starters in the fourth quarter to pull away from that powerhouse of a team.

I don't think I was too clear on my OP. I was talking about like in the 3rd series or something. After it was painfully obvious that the starters weren't playing with max effort/focus.

It wouldn't have been motivation, it would've beem reward for a job not well done. These players shouldve expected to get to sit early, having to play the whole game wouldve been more punishment.
