What should I expect at this concert? Very familiar with the venue since I live hear, but I don't listen to Florence at all. The wife does and we got free tickets, so we're going to check it out.

Anyone else seen her live?

Never seen her live, but she has a great voice if you ask me. They have some pretty good songs.

I'll be surprised if you leave saying "well that is 2 hours I'll never get back". Or however long the concert is.

saw her at Jazz Fest this year, and it was an absolutely amazing performance. her stage presence is just outstanding. and her voice live is nothing short of brilliant. be ready to put your wife on your shoulders, though

Definitely check out some songs beforehand to get a feel for their music. I've never seen them live; however, I have watched a live concert on YouTube if that counts. It was really good and yes she has a pretty voice.

You'll have a good time. Wish I was going!

For sure:

Florence and The Machine - Cosmic Love, lyrics:

quote:

A falling star fell from your heart
And landed in my eyes I screamed aloud, as it tore through them
And now it's left me blind
The stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
You left me in the dark
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight In the shadow of your heart
