I think LSU approached A&M and Texas Tech about a game in Houston but Tech wanted a home and home and A&M was still pissed about the old contract

$$$$$$$....exposure....big bump if you win and a close loss to a quality team still gets you sos points. plus....the games are fun and your fans get to travel and style.
