frick man, I don't have an issue with you but i've been playing music for 18 years now. I know what i'm talking about

funny side note: my guitarist in one of my bands used to be a huge jam band fan. panic, phish, gov't mule and the like. one of the best guitarists i've ever heard.

A lot of really good guitarists naturally gravitate to jam bands. Its a scene that wholeheartedly embraces their talents and ecourages them to use them. Why wouldn't they?
