Primus is one of my favorite bands of the last twenty years. Live, they will extend songs such as tommy the cat a couple of minutes or blue collared tweakers, but just because a band extends a few songs live does not mean they are a "jam band". That just means they are a good live band.
Hell, I've seen incubus extend a song or two, does that make them a jam band?
