If Bama loses to LSU, they will likely only play 2 teams who finish in the final top 25. And they would've gone 1-1. A weak schedule didn't hurt Bama last year, but you'd think someone would notice this year.
Still early, though. A lot can change.

I think it is a very likely situation that neither LSU or Alabama make it to the NC game this year.
For this to happen LSU has to beat alabama.
If Alabama has just one more loss which could come in the the SEC championship game then they don't go despite being better than the two teams that do play for the crystal. Miss. St. will be undefeated when they play.
LSU has to play Fla. USC, Miss. St. and A&M and Bama and then beat the SEC East champion as well. Very realistic that LSU loses two of those.
Fla. State will likely be in it as they have a good team and a weak schedule. Oregon might only have 1 loss. And that is all it would take. Others could have a great season and replace one of those... just depends on how all that plays out.
