The writing for the BBC version is so superior to that of CBS. At least Moffat and Gatiss take actual Sherlock Holmes short stories and adapt them to the 21st Century. I watched the pilot episode for Elementary and the only way I knew that the show was about Sherlock Holmes is because the main character is called Sherlock Holmes. The character, however, is nothing like the one found in the books.

Exactly. I love in the BBC show how thay are able to take the original stories and fit them into modern times. Moriarty is incredibly well done as well.

BBC Sherlock is probably the best show on TV.

I watched it on my XBOX a few months ago. Sad that season 3 doesn't air until fall 2013.

I refuse to watch the CBS abortion "Elementary". Lucy Liu is fricking Watson? Really?
