If you went to NSU in Natchitoches the same time he did you wouldn't be shocked that he was on the wrong side of town.

I couldn't find it but his mug shot was in the paper. Less than flattering to say the least. I know they were in a pinch when Faulk left them high and dry but when you make someone that young head coach it doesn't come without risk.

So my facts must be wrong? I dont know who your "inside source" is buy i do know is that he truly did separate his shoulder against West Gate in a scrimage.

And either way he is having a very good season and I expect to see him getting a shot at a D1 school next year. Could be a steal for a school like ULL or Louisiana Tech

Being groomed by and playing for Coach Sonny Charpentier is a big plus for Cronin. This is the same coach that helped to develop Jake Delhomme in high school and more recently D'Shae Landor now at UL Lafayette. So far, his game by game improvement has really been remarkable. This is a kid that had no varsity experience at QB before the season.

I don't know what happened at U-High. However, Cronin sure did end up with a great Coach and on a very good team.

Having to sit out last yr as a transfer, he is flying under the radar for a lot of the colleges. My understanding is that he did camp at a few schools this summer.

Hopefully for the kids sake, someone will give him a shot at the next level. And no, I am not Mr Cronin either, his Dad passed away when he was a small kid and his mother moved back to Louisiana from out of state.

ULL lock, at least i hope so.

I would not be surprised to see him go out of state to an SEC school.

Let me help y'all out. Does Conner's Dad coach at LSU? As posted above, no. He's being raised by his Mom.

Freak of an athlete-dunking a basketball flat footed as a freshman. I figured if he was ever given a chance, he might be like others with the same "relative" handicap. See Dash Duncan and Brandon Fields, both of whom were told being a QB was not in their future, yet excelled playing the position elsewhere. Especially hated seeing Brandon leave, my boys liked riding in Cleo's Louisiana Leadership rockstar buses instead of school buses.

As St Michael warrior
We thank the "relative" syndrome from the school
That chose to go another route w QB..
We sure enjoy those fine buses....
Go Brandon! Hard to play a position you were
Born to play and never get to try out!
I know Brandon and the 6'5 Cronin kid
We're in school together one had a parent in politics
One had a parent with faith. One stayed one
Left! Fields & Cronin both have a future in
This position ..... Thanks to the Coaches
That handle their business with the
Right fit for the team not the "relative"
Syndrome !! We have kids in La being overlooked
Because of who's who instead of what talent
They have.
