Sept 7 was the original date of the LSU/TCU game. The Cowboys Classic is always on opening weekend. Some news people probably didn't understand that and reported it as the 7th.

I hope the LSU ticket office is more forthcoming about the EXACT number of decent sideline tickets available to the seson ticket holders....UNLIKE the game vs. Oregon.

They'll be forthcoming but good luck to everybody wanting tickets. I know Oregon was a draw, but this game will be a tough ticket, especially with TCU playing in its back yard and if Cowboys season ticket holders get their share.

Well they certainly were NOT honest about the lack of decent tickets for the Oregon game ! Apparently most of the good sideline seats are somehow "reserved" for the big Cowboy contributors and you simply can't request lower level or sideline only for this special money-grab game...what the vast majority of fans end up with are 3rd and 4th level CRAP seats with no way to AVOID it !! I hope they do a better job this time !
