Are fans in denial of just how good the 2011 team was

Just because of the butt whipping Alabama laid on LSU in the national championship game?
Is it that no one wants to think or accept that Alabama beat the crap out of one of if not the best LSU football teams ever.
Not trying to troll I love my LSU tigers. I just keep seeing fans trying to downplay how good LSU was last year and how much better they are this year.

It is impossible to compare the two teams without seeing how the 2012 team plays out.

2011 team would of been arguably one of the best college football teams of all time if they would of won on 1-9 imo

I havent heard one person say we are better team this year. Better at QB yes, but no one is saying we are a better team. imho fwiw tbh

Last years team didn't really need an offense. Special teams and defense gave LSU an overwhelming field position advantage. I am not seeing it this year.
