Bear Bryant had consistent access to talent, had essentially unlimited scholarships and coached during a period lacking the parity of modern football. He obviously did a legendary job at Bama, but I don't think even he could have topped what Snyder has done at KState. It's impossible to know and comparing eras is difficult, but Snyder has to be considered at least in the top 10 of all time coaches given KState's natural barriers to success.
