yeah, they can't fire Stoops, but I do think its time for him (and Mack Brown) to move along, nothing left to prove. I don't take what the luntic fringe expects credibly. Once Stoops leaves, OU should have no problem finding a good coach.

I think we're mostly in agreement, H-Town. Mack and Bob both need to bounce, but as an LSU fan I'm okay with them hanging on for another 10 years or so

I still think it sets an unfortunate precedent, though. Maybe the best thing to do would be to simply not renew their contracts, but I don't know how much longer those guys have.
