re: How I Met Your Mother Season 8 full season thread

She could have meant something but instead they kind of just threw her in there because they had nothing to put in the finale because they are dragging out the show 2-3 seasons too long

That is contradicting. I agree that the show is about the journey to meet her but she is a key to the show.

I would have been fine with a quick 5 minute scene at the end of a couple seasons ago involving him meeting her and them having a moment then she walks in and gives him a hug in front of the kids. Show done.

But now, I don't know what I want from this show anymore. I want some closure but I'm just not sure what form I want it in. I don't have any faith that I will enjoy the last season though. I watched a marathon the other day of the first season and it was pretty amazing and then I see some of this season's stuff.
