Agreed. No resolution whatsoever, just them being completely normal.

This episode was really weird for me. Didn't feel like a finale at all. Did feel like try we're trying to cram a whole bunch of shite to set up future things though.

I like the Marshall/Lilly angle though.

Ted and the locket is stupid I think. IMO they missed an opportunity to have Barney have the locket like we talked about last week, and that could've sealed it for Robin. But instead they make Ted have it?

They clearly keep wanting to shove he and Robin down our throats for some reason. So Ted is basically hopelessly in love with his best friend's fiancée but he's gonna meet the mother of his children tomorrow. Weird.

Wasn't a bad episode really, and I've enjoyed this season for the vast majority, but this was a really odd finale.

ETA: and as for the mother, I was disappointed. She's cute I guess, but he's definitely dated much hotter chicks. But it's not all about looks though, and hopefully next season they'll show us why she's so perfect for him.
