I loved this episode. All the complaints I'm reading is about how it's a filler episode well what the frick do you expect at this point? With a set plot (with the ending of the plot being the show's title) it's kinda hard to digress from what they have now. Just enjoy the show for what it is.

What I loved about the episode is how classic it felt, with the Marshall/Robin shenanigans, no Marvin, Barney wanting to do something childish yet awesome....and then for it to go back to reality and show how in real life, shite moves on, and Ted is getting pretty old for a single dude. It may not have "moved the plot forward," but it's as good and on topic as a "filler episode" will get.

At this point, i have no problem with filler episodes because they have a set time they are going to do things. The past 3-5 episodes have been pure filler but ive loved them because they were funny and a lot of them found a way to showcase classic Barney.

I have no problem with the filler, just own it for what it is. Dont give me that crap ending trying to make it seem like something deep just happened (unless the dead mother theory is right, then it makes sense) when in reality nothing happened and it wasnt that funny.
