Interesting stats. I wish I had hurried pass attempts, but I can't find that stat anywhere. Obviously, these are the three teams believed to be our toughest competition left on the schedule. On paper, the stats are comparatively very close. I certainly don't want our QB getting hit, but these stats show that we're not alone....

Oh, and I'm not saying our Oline is great by any stretch of the imagination, but as you can see, these teams have Oline issues, too.

Interesting stats. Bama & UF each have 1 more quality opponent than LSU, will be something to watch over the next few weeks as schedules ramp up.

We're not saying the entire OL sucks. On the contrary, Collins, Lonergan, and Williford are more than capable. Hurst is good at run blocking but average at best at pass protection. Josh D was on the ground at Auburn all night long. And he wasn't much better against the earlier creampuffs.

We could be better.

Interesting stats.

Please keep this updated as the competition gets better for all teams involved. LSU's stats don't look too bad, but we haven't exactly played any great defenses yet.

To be fair we've had a SILLY easy schedule so far.

I think it's a little bit on everybody so far this year. QB, WR's, and OLine have all had (what seems to me) more mental errors than (reasonably) expected, but we've been able to make plays when needed.

Aw, hell with it, post those stats! Bama got the benefit of the doubt with stat padding last year.

We also average more rush yards per game than all three.

LSU D-line vs. UF O-line = advantage Tigers. Don't think they can hold up all game. Will need to keep their QB in the pocket, he runs pretty well.

but.....but.....but

12-10 and 1/9/12

In all honesty, nice post and thank you for posting legit stats to show we arent' the only ones with issues to fix. I've been saying WKU got 6 sacks against Bama's OLine, but half the rant won't stop slobbering Bama's junk long enough to actually look at the facts.

And for those who talk about schedule, please tell me the quality teams that the others on this list have played. LSU has Washington and Auburn. Bama has Michigan and Arkansas? Forida has aTm and Tenn. USCe has Mizzou and Vandy?

I would argue that Auburn has the best DL of all the competition right now and certainly the best individual player with Lemonier.

Disagree with Bama and usce. Blowouts had backups in which probably lead to those numbers.

Wow. great post! That puts things in perspective a bit. We still need for the O line to step up, but .... it looks par for the coursed.

Too positive.

We haven't played any tough competion like Bama has, so those stats are wrong, and the OL is terrible.

Now that is very interesting, I actually think we have a chance now.
