And the word I'm getting from friends that were at the match today is that United's supporters were respectful of the pre match tributes to the 96 that died at Hillsborough. The problems developed late in the match and were a response to Munich chants. I've been told that at least 3 people were arrested for airplane impersonations.

You realize that doesn't justify anything, right?

Those Liverpool fans are just as disgraceful as the Manchester United fans chanting "Murderers, murderers." I hope the fans that were arrested receive a lifetime ban from Anfield.

Sounds like "always the victims, never your fault" is quite apt for you as well.
