Anyone ever been a judge at a barbecue competition

I'm a judge in one today at Lamar Dixon. It has been awesome so far. We've done chicken and ribs so far and brisket is next up.

I am planning to do this one day. They have classes here and it sounds great to me.

I did one in Ponchatoula that had me stuffed for 2 days. The "judging" was highly "qualified" and so official I found it humorous. That said I took it as seriously as they wanted us to and has a great time
