Of course they have a right to be mad. How much money does the average fan pay in order to have tickets, merchandise, so on and so forth? These athletes never seem to remember just who they are truly playing for.

As much as it pains me to say it, I was very impressed with how Smith and Newton handed that L to the Giants Thursday. They apologized to the fans, something a lot more of these players should start doing when they take the field and give an abysmal performance.
