I did NOT think they were going to be doing that so quickly.

I didn't either. Did you watch? I don't want to spoil it if you didn't

Yes - I did. You may want to "spoiler below" and skip a few spaces for the handful of others that follow the show, though.

The whole thing with the Colorado kid being Sara's son has my head hurting. What was Lucy's relationship with the Kid? They say Lucy loved the Kid but did she know that was her/Sara's son? Audrey returns every 27 years so if Sara brought the Colorado Kid to Haven as a baby then returned 27 years later, both would be in their 20s. Hope they weren't a couple

You wouldn't love your son? I'm fairly certain Syfy isn't gonna go in that direction. This isn't HBO. Good episode. But I don't think Tommy is the one making a woman suit or whatever.

How could Duke heal Nathan? His trouble doesn't deal with healing. Anyway good episode tonight. Can't wait to find out what the barn is all about. Vince seemed freaked when he saw it. Speaking of Vince, he and Dave took a hell of a beating from Tommy. And no way is Tommy really dead, I laughed my arse off when they blew the boat up after Audrey told Nathan not to shoot Tommy.

Thinking about starting this show. I'm already aboard the Supernatural, Alphas, Warehouse 13 train, and have been waiting on Fringe to finish up before starting that. Can someone describe this show? Repeats come on SyFy all the time, so I've seen a few episodes, never full length but good sized chunks here and there.

Have you ever read "Needful Things" by Stephen King? Imagine a typical King quaint little town... where the people develop "troubles" which cause different things to happen. The central characters are the son of the police chief whose family has been in town for generations and the other is the new girl... also Law Enforcement. There's also the bad boy who may or may not be a good guy. They solve the towns crimes... Most are related to the "troubles" while some deeper mysteries start to unfold and factions become apparent.

I was going to say that the people in the town on Haven were like the "things" on needful things - all quirky and unique. Everything else in my synopsis still applies.

I'm glad other people like this show besides me, I was beginning to think I was the only person that watched it.

For those wondering Syfy pulled tonight's episode because of the tragedy in Conneticut. "Tonight's scheduled 10 p.m. episode of Haven contained scenes of fictitious violence in a high school. In light of today's tragedy in Newtown, Conn., we have decided not to air it. At this time, no decision has been made as to when the episode will air." LINK

Thanks for letting us know. That was a very nice thing to do. I enjoyed watching the Eureka Christmas special again anyway.

i finished season 1 a couple of days ago. 1st season crept along and took me a while to watch because it hadn't hooked me yet but the last 2 episodes definitely at least got me interested. one episode severely angered me. i'm a big sci-fi guy and ok with a lot of out there shite but the episode with the drawings made me lose faith for a couple of days. that was just god awful i mean you touch the paper and shite happens to that person or building or whatever, c'mon now. i had to just shake my head when he touched the top of the church and it broke. outside of that episode though i really enjoyed the later half of the 1st season. it also doesn't hurt to have emily rose to keep me watching. starting 2nd season soon

We have to wait until January to see the final two episodes of this season. Here is the statement from Syfy:
quote:
Last Friday’s 10PM episode of Haven contained scenes of fictitious violence in a high school setting and in light of the recent tragedy, we have decided to reschedule it along with the series’ season three finale, originally slated to air this Friday, December 21st at 10PM. The final two episodes of season three of Haven will now air back-to-back on Thursday, January 17th from 8-10 PM (ET/PT) to maintain the integrity of the series’ serialized nature
. LINK Sucks we can't finish the season before the year ends but it is what it is.
