Said that if it is a close game and LSU loses, that the writers will want to test Bama and force them to beat LSU again in the ship.

This is if no other undefeated major conference teams. Mostly Big 12 and Pac 12 teams. Big 10 taken themselves out already.

I don't see this happening. LSU won't get a mulligan.

College football fans don't want to see a rematch.

They are sick of the SEC

If FSU/Clemson come out of the ACC as 1 loss champs no way they get in. However, a 1 loss Pac12 or Big12 champ probably gets the nod over the loser of LSU/Bama this year. Notice I said the loser, meaning neither team will receive a mulligan

The nation does not want another rematch. It won't happen again, which is a shame if things played out just like last year but the other way around. They will find an opponent.

Not going to happen if LSU loses. Same goes for last year. Rematch is only option for Bama.

My guess is if it looks like there is even a possibility of a rematch the humans will vote to avoid one.

In other words, the loser of the Nov. 3 game may drop just a couple of spots if it's another nailbiter like last season, but in the weeks to follow, look for other teams to jump that team based on 'impressive' wins in the closing weeks.

If florida state beats clemson this saturday they should go undefeated but it is florida state

I don't really see a team in the big 12 that will beat WVU unless Oklahoma gets their shite together.

Oregon could also be undefeated.

You could potentially have an undeated alabama or LSU whoever wins november 3 and undefeated florida state, west virginia, and oregon.

who gets the nod then if you have 4 undefeated teams. which ones will be they didn't get in.

The establishment has done it to themselves. If LSU loses by 3 & the stats are close, & the other BCS conf champs have 1 loss, the NCAA football experts have backed themselves into a corner. It should not of happened last year, but the precedent has been set.

It all depends on what nick saban says: if it's too best teams then Lsu is in but if he reverts to his conference champs bit back in 03 then it won't be Lsu

If we lose we don't get the mulligan
If Bama loses well of course they deserve a rematch

Everyone breath deeply and exhale.

I'm more inclined to believe Brad Edwards who knows the ins and outs of the BCS far better than "the media hates us rantards" on this board.

Edwards is objective. 95% of this board, not so much.

After last year I wouldn't be surprised to see them put Bama in the game if we beat them again and finish undefeated. Why not give them an extra week off to watch our game and study film again?

LSU still has Florida and South Carolina. This could be a 2 or 3 loss season.

If USC beats Oregon on Nov 3rd, and LSU loses a close one. USC will jump LSU and LSU will not surpass them the rest of the season. ( especially considering our weak schedule after that point )

Nope. This is a set up IF the situation is reversed. Bama and Florida are the only two Tier 1 Media Darlings in the SEC. LSU is still Tier 2.

This is somewhat correct. If there is another Media Darling that wins a conference, you bet your arse they make it. For example, had Oklahoma or Texas been in Oklahoma "Lite"'s situation last year, they go to NOLA.

And LSU shouldn't get a mulligan. I don't know about you, but I don't want LSU becoming one of "those teams" that don't earn it, like Bama in 2011. Frick that.

If Bama loses a close one they will definitely get a re-try. If LSU loses a close one, they will drop so far in the polls that they won't ever get a re-try.
