not really. The Dome was only measured in the 3rd quarter of that game from the field, the rest was from the press box.

If TS reached 130 decibels, we would have blown out our ear drums

I'm fairly certain that noise levels on the field at TS have been measured between 125 - 130 decibels.

So the highest recorded decibel level at the Superdome is 119. The highest recorded decibel level at TS has been 125-130. Tiger Stadium wins on the empirical evidence. All of the rest comprises anecdotal accounts heavily influenced by emotional bias, etc.

Either way, in a huge game, TS is deafening.

umm yeah, think I kinda did when the Tigers blocked the Bama field goal

noise level at TS>>the dome
