Aside from any opinion of Williams and his credibility, Williams states in his affidavit that the Saints did not pay for illegal hits or plays that were deemed outside the rules. Does that eliminate "pay to injure?"

Wow, now that's F'd up! So if Vilmas guilty everyone else is innocent. RG can't have it both ways if he bases his punishments on GW affidavit.

Lt. Col. Frank Slade needs to take a FLAME-THROWER to this place.

I can picture Goodell whispering in Greg's ear like George Willis Jr.'s dad did in Scent of a Woman. Vilma is Charlie sitting next to the Lt. Col.

I love that speech! "But, not a snitch!"

graychef: no, williams indicated the possibility of a bounty offered by vilma, but he did not state that he saw, heard of, or knew of any transfer of money involving or related to a bounty or injury to a player.

basically it reads like williams is trying to do what he thinks (or knows) he must to get an eventual reinstatement to the league without throwing vilma or anyone else completely under the bus.
