Although he's got the weight of the entire team on his shoulders, and he, as is his tendency, tries to do too much, Brees is producing at a pretty productive level considering that:

His recievers are (cept Graham) small, slow and indistinguished.

His Offensive line is pourous and inconsistent

His crappy defense makes the Offensive gameplan completely transparent and easy to defend.

Oh, and BTW. He has given this team and city it's only championship with fabulous years surrounding it.

So because he can't do it all, let's toss him out the door? Child Please!

By the way, who are you going to sign that was even available in free agency on the defensive side with that extra money to improve the Saints that much more?

Not worth it.. You build your franchise in the draft.
