LSUZombie's Official Prediction Thread - Saints vs Panthers edition

Hello glorious members of Saints Talk. I have decided to lend my football analysis to the good folks of the board and predict the game for this week.
Though I have gained quite the reputation from the sunshine pumpers as overly negative and critical, I like to say I call it as I see it. But that's in the past. Now, on to the match up!
Division games are always slug fests, no matter the record of the teams playing. Both teams are a disappointing 0-1, having each lost to an opponent they were supposed to beat with ease at home. So let's break it down, shall we?
Offense - I'm going with a push on this one. Carolina had a top offense last year and their skill players are prone to breakout games against the Saints. The saints should get back on track but they need to run the ball and control the clock and tempo. Should be a high scoring game.
Defense - I'm giving the slight edge to the Panthers. The Saints D was atrocious last game, but their run D was actually pretty good until they were worn down. Greer coming back helps a lot, but the two safeties (Jenkins and Harper) are huge liabilities. Big plays will be given up, just depends who can make a stop.
Special Teams - Edge to the saints. Great punter, solid kicker, and that blocked punt has me feeling all giddy inside.
Coaching - Sadly this is a big advantage to the Panthers. Hopefully this will not turn into the game from last week where our staff was clueless on how to adjust as the game progressed.
So who wins? Scroll down and see!
Sadly, the saints fall to the panthers in a very physical, intense game. The Panthers want revenge from last year, and I feel this will be the x-factor. They will be at home and want it more.
Panthers 38 Saints 31

but his is trendy bc he goes against the Saints. He would rather see the Saints lose so he can say "I told you so" rather than actually rooting for his "team" to win.
he's a fricking tool bag.

Well, this thread sure is an anomaly.
LSUZombie AND Northgwinnettiger think the Saints are gonna lose.

How much money would I have to put in your paypal account to keep you off the board on game day?

Brah, I'm sorry people are mad that I picked the saints to lose. I'll still be wearing my Brees jersey and watching the game intensely like I do every sunday, cheering for my boys to win.

Saints weren't supposed to beat the Redskins as home with a rookie QB and the Panthers weren't supposed to beat the Bucs at home? C'mon now.
