What are you trying to argue? That 3 is a very low number?
I think everyone gets that, but 3.5 games isn't insurmountable. I'd like to see what the Braves and Red Sox % was last year on September 1st.

I'm just saying that fighting with 4 other teams for one spot isn't usually a good thing.
