can use ya more around here OP to suppress the tard tide.
The everything right for Skins is very true. Combine that it took that with some major wrongs by the Saints and a loss is no surprise. The quality of this team is reflected in that it was as close as it was for how poorly they played.
Corrections must be made though or it will turn more on the team failures than opponents success.
My list is something like-
Win the turnover battle- even the casual fan knows it has to improve. -3 was not a good start
Reduce penalties- 12 for 107yds is almost exactly double the 2011 avg of 6.8 for 57yds
Diligence to ref calls- Payton learned restraint after starting his career as prolly too quick to challenge. Kromer might need nudging to be more aggressive. These refs look intimidated to me. They seem to fling a pass interference more often than not when a WR calls for one. Under the circumstances i'd put one staffer just to watch the refs, calls, and potential issues or adjustments.
Catches not drops- It looked like a season worth of drops in Week 1. Moore & Colston looked exceptional bad for their consistency standards.
Those 4 things are enough to turn a game like last week into a Saints 40+ win by over 2 TDs
