The SEC slate that day is:
Kentucky vs Arkansas
Auburn vs Ole Miss
TA&m vs LA Tech
Florida vs Vandy
Tennessee @ Miss. State
Alabama vs Missouri
South Carolina vs LSU
If Tennessee is able to beat Florida this weekend and is able to beat Bama(longshot) or at least make it a close game.. . The possible matchup between the once beaten Vols and a possibly undefeated Miss. State team( plays @Troy, South Alabama and Kentucky) may be enough to sway CBS into taking that matchup over LSU and South Carolina.
South Carolina plays Georgia the weekend before LSU and that is a game that South Carolina very well could loose.
It would take a lot of dominoes to fall in place but I wouldn't call the game a LOCK for 2:30 just yet

this is the only time CBS can do a Mizzou home game and it is a big one - Bama. If Georgia beats South Car Oct 6, CBS will go with Mizzou Bama. If S Car wins over Ga, CBS will go with USC at LSU
