1988 It was my Senior year in HS and LSU had not sunken into the "Crazy Bout Curly" Hell yet and I was not used to LSU loosing. Nov. 19 Miami came to Baton Rouge and Skull drug us all over the field 44-3. I believe this game was the beginning of the LSU decline for 10 years. On top of all that we sat through that entire whipping in a Tropical Storm that left no part of us dry even with Ponchos on.

By the way I think this was the beginning of the decline because 2 games later we lost to Syracuse in our bowl game and despite being preseason Ranked number Seven the next year (my Freshman year at LSU), we got hammered at College Station by A&M. It was a slow bleeding out from there until rock bottom.
