The loss to Miami of Ohio in 1986. I think LSU was ranked #8 in the country. Miami of Ohio had no business winning that game. I was in shock after that game.

This

LSU was in the same position Arkansas was in, and a lowly mid major came in and beat them. LSU actually had a very good team that year, unlike Arkansas though.

i was at that stupid game.

i remember A&M published a 'poem' afterward because we were getting ready to play them shortly after.

I would add to that losing to Tulane the week after blowing up Florida State to get an Orange Bowl bid.

All week long everyone had been talking about getting revenge for getting crushed by Tulane the year before.
