If untucking is not an option, you may have to accept a slight downgrade in caliber for extra concealment...

I'm gonna say the dreaded 100x3 + 80
Since you're used to the LC9, get an LCP. Pocket carry that slut when you think you may print. It may be a bit smaller but it is 100 times more comfortable. It's like carrying an extra wallet or cell phone...

I have the LC9 but have never had any problems like the OP described. I have a custom fit pocket holster that came with the laser I put on it and doesnt look like a gun in the pocket.
You can try the LCP but it was too small for my hands.
