Trevin - ANOTHER chick song? Really? There's no more masculine songs out there in his range? Not bad, but I think he must have been told to be as loud as possible as often as possible because he seemed to force some of that. But that's his wheelhouse so he gets some leeway.
Buble - Meh. Some of the contestants this season have done better performances.
Nicholas - I called this song weeks ago. He started out well enough, but seemed lost in the middle and kind of pushed to hard toward the end. Very emotional performance with his wife right there. I think it would have been a biiiiiiig emotional winner had he actually gone all the way out to her.
Blake & Co. - Meh.
Cassadee - Pretty song, did well on it. If she makes it to the finale (which she absolutely should) I think Lisa Loeb's "Do You Sleep" would be a really good fit.
--Blake had a great point about Cassadee and country music. She has a sound that would translate extreeeemely well to country.
Terry - Started off like a stampede of awesome. Towards the middle of the song he seemed to get flat a few times (which is insane for him). The really big parts he nailed well though. I think the win for the night is between he and Cassadee.
If there is justice in the world, the battle for the bottom is between Nicholas and Trevin.
