Xmen Origins/ First Class question

How could an old Picard...I mean old Prof X be walking in Origins at the end when he helps save the children on the island? He was crippled up in First Class as a young man.
Also I noticed that the kid with sonar mouth from First Class is in the group of kids at the end of Origins. They have got their timelines messed up or is this some mutant trick I am missing?

Because Matthew Vaughn doesn't give a shite about what happened in the previous films, any films after X2 in particular. He just tried to make the best film he could and just saw what he was doing as a reboot.

this is quite the conundrum. It is really bothering me. I was okay with all of these in this series until now.

Well that's your real problem right there. X3 and Wolverine were horse shite. Strike them from your memory.
If you pay attention only to Xmen,X2,and First Class, you'll have no confusion.
Better?

I guess so. I was a huge fan of the comics growing up so I tend to over analyze these movies. I have seen them all several times but just caught the tail end of origins last night and noticed it.

I hear ya man. Try being a big Cyclops fan and dealing with this shite.

I prefer to think the events of that abomination Wolverine movie have nothing to do with the xmen universe.

Some of it still doesn't make sense. Cerebro being a big example.

And now they are doing a sequel to Wolverine. Does this mean they basically have 2 different X Men universes going on right now at the movies?

I'm hearing good things about The Wolverine. Other than the same main character, I don't know how much of the sequel will tie into the original. Meaning you can probably continue to ignore the first Wolverine movie.

Origins is completely unrelated to First Class. They completely screwed up Origins so just forget you ever watched it.
