I think oregon is a stretch since they don't have as much of the basketball angle. usc may be on probation for basketball (they had some issues) but they may be the NEW team to watch. eric dickerson is mom's first cousin and I think he lives out there.

just a little odd that the only 2 AWAY schools he is looking at are two schools with recent recruiting violation issues.

This is a good point. Hasn't Oregon's new basketball staff been doing okay, like NIT the first couple years? That's really not much different from what LSU or A&M has done recently. The basketball angle will definitely help Baylor and hurt USC, but for wanting to play basketball so badly he isn't really looking at the greatest basketball programs.
