I can agree with all those points. But remember, last year Oregon probably needed just one more series to beat a wore out USC.

Which is why I say "yet". The coming weeks will tell whether Oregon belongs in that title contender class with Bama, LSU, and SC. The difference has always been defense. This year we have a very talented front 7, with a lot of potential in the secondary. But will that potential amount to success on the field? Won't know until Oregon gets into conference play.
