I am no where near a banking executive yet and most of them are at least in their mid 40s and have extensive experience. I've only been in banking compliance for 3 years in April. Based on my research, it is definitely worth it. The CEO of my bank attended the stonier school of banking. I would argue a lot of banking executives have attended this school. It has a very good reputation. If I had a shot or the opportunity to do this, I would. I have to climb the latter more before I make a committment to this.

Contrary to what some have said, LSU School of Banking is graduate level. If you graduate (2wks/ year for 3 yrs) you can get an MBA from USC (South Carolina) or Alabama online in a year or so depending on your motivation. Good for networking and not too hard.
