1) The health of Mett--obvious

2) the health of Reid, Minter, and Logan--besides their leadership, I think there is a significant drop off in playmaking ability at each of their spots

3) lack of size at WR--this is the 1st time in 10 years that we haven't had a that big, physical receiver who could get separation at any time. I know you don't have to be big, but it certainly helps. I hope James Wright can provide that sure-handed big body

4) lack of receiving TE--we lost a lot of athleticism (although, granted not much production) with the graduation of Deangelo. Reports out of fall camp were not so great about this position. Hopefully that FR (his name escapes me) can emerge as the checkdown safety valve for Zach. Otherwise, I expect to see a lot of receptions by our backs

5) inexperience at CB--this one is obvious too

These are my concerns and things I'll be watching for tonight. The great thing about CFB, though, is that every team will have concerns, most much greater than ours. And our strengths should be much greater as well. Here's hoping tonight begins another run to the BCSNCG.

Can't argue with any of those

Reid and Simon are probably our 2 most important defenders.

Obviously we need Mett to stay healthy

I think what will ultimately determine just how far we get is how good the offensive line winds up being. If they are as good as some people believe, it's going to be another special year.

agree with most of that, but Landry is as physical as a man can be with his size.

My only concerns are lack of experience and depth at CB. But the schedule sets up nice to get quality reps so my biggest fear is that the Collinses aren't as talented. It's not my opinion (I think they will be fine) but its a concern.

Then there is the lack of size on defense. Chablis loves speed but we have light DEs and light LBs.

Hell for 3 years we had Terrance Tolliver and didn't use him

That there won't be enough time today for all the Game Day mouthpieces to get a chance to get tea bagged by Saban.

...and the corners worry me a little. But, thankfully we will have Reid will be back there directing everyone to their proper assignments.

I want sound tackling, guys in position, hustle to the ball, recievers running good routes and not having drops. I want to see out pass blocking much improved over last year.

I am curbing my enthusiasm for the secondary and lbers. I cant wait to see what we are workin with there.

No concerns over the dline, run blocking and running backs.

Punt returns too. Obviously no injuries
