At 5 today, I am going to lay my tent foundation and possibly park a car. Do you think they will tow my car if they haven't announced if the grass lots are open yet?

Fans may not erect tents or tent frames on the LSU campus until 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, due to clean up from the impact of Hurricane Isaac. Police will remove tents or tent frames that are erected prior to 5 p.m. on that day.

I mean...the frames were there, they just weren't up

Are you sure about that? Im at ticket office now and there is talk of closing all the grass lots now with the downpours on campus for most of the day today.

Where can you park without having a parking pass?

I'm sure that's what he told me. Not sure if he knew what he was talking about. Take it for what it is worth.

He was probably just repeating what was released last night.

They still haven't made the announcment today.

Probably so. Could get interesting if it turned into a mud pit by allowing cars to park. Female mud wrestling to go along with all the other festivities would be ok with me. Getting to watch all the cars spin and slide would be a bonus.

The light at nicholson and nicholson ext went out about 2 hrs ago during the recent heavy downpour. They are feverishly putting up all the plaques on the recognition walls and purting in the gate turnstyles now.

PICS?
You think this heavy rain we are getting could close more lots down for tomorrow? TIA

From what I hear they will close most of the back 9 but leave open the gravel part of it near the entrance road for parking. The walkons grass lot may be closed as well. I'm not aware of anything else that has been discussed.

Tomorrow's weather may not be any better than it was today. However, most areas that have depressions currently have standing water.
