First time since 2002 I believe. As a Lafayette resident I'm looking forward to it. Seems like we are doing them a favor selling out their stadium for a midweek game.

Topic here is
A) Do you think this is a positive move for LSU or will It only prove to be counterproductive.(clearly LSU doesn't NEED to schedule ULL and is electing to forgoe one of the better attended midweek games at Alex Box)
B) Do you plan on attending?

Over/under one post until someone says it's football season.

Considering I lived in Lafayette for years and attended LSU, I like the idea. If we are willing to travel to other areas of the state, why not Lafayette? I'd rather them play ULL in Lafayette than Alcorn State at the Box.

This might be one of those deals where I scheduled a "work" trip to Lafayette the day of the game.

There's a lot of tailgating ground at Tigue Moore Field. Judging by the response in this thread, we have the potential for one hell of a weeknight party.

And out of the 3 Big's. The baseball fans at ULL are by far the worst. Many of them are the trashiest folk Lafayette has to offer.

The bat flying into the dugout was one of my favorite moments in this series.

People swore it was intentional.
