I just asked a Wildlife and Fisheries agent in Laplace 
He said they cleared it and it is now open.

My dad had emergency surgery last night. Heading down to Nola from Denham springs in an hour or so. I will let you guys know how I make it there.

Hoping by the end of the day the routes are open. Still have a feeling the airport is going to screw me though.
