Sorry, I meant the Corps HQ.

My grandfather worked at the Waterways Experiment Station for about 20 years.

Know this isn't Jackson or Vicksburg, don't want to start new thread. Does anyone know about Natchez? Have a place there and can't get to it yet to check.

Oh, I don't know. I live in BR. Family's from Vickburg and I lived there for a few years (as well as just about every Summer while growing up). Great little town. A lot of fond memories.

I live in Brandon. No power since about 2 this morning. Underground utilities. I think someone needs to just flip a switch. Happened a couple times since I lived here

I'm in Madison and there hasn't been anything bad. The wind is going pretty good and just a steady rain like it has been since I went to bed. No power outages though

Just outside Hattiesburg and it hasn't been bad at all where I am. Only inconvenience was a loss of internet for 10-15 minutes during one bout of slightly heavy downfall last night. I've heard reports of tornadic activity, some downed trees, and a little flooding in the area, though. Probably nothing on a major scale.

made it to work, but the local news said that the tornados that are popping up in gulfport thru laurel are heading towards jackson. There is a really good interactive map on wlbt.com that I am following that shows tornadic rotations
