Went to LaPlace today to bring my parents some more gasoline and ice. It's unreal the amount of water that got pushed in. Places that have never flooded before saw several feet in their homes.

Can anyone tell me why we flooded? Im hearing that Lake Ponchartrain over filled, but was it due to some of the new levees?
