I'm in south Louisiana. Looking out my office window right now it's sunny and 10 MPH winds. HOW CAN I STAND TO LIVE HERE?

Its not so much Louisiana. It's if you live on the coast or not. I used to live near the coast in a city that's getting slammed right now. I moved an hour north and I am seeing a fraction of what I used to. My insurance rates went down and I no longer have to board up my windows for every storm anymore. We didn't move solely because of the hurricane threat but it was one factor. If you live in the Baton Rouge area trust me its much better than closer to the coast.
