quick question about debris pick up in p-ville..
im not originally from here and notice everyone is putting their limb and debris in trash bags by the road so we followed along..well the trash just ran and they only emptied the trash cans and did not pick up the stuff around the trash cans..they did this with everyone..is there a separate company or parish or city that comes by to pick up the debris on the side of the road here? thanks

It is a different truck that picks up debris, etc.
At least in Baton Rouge it is done that way and yes, my bags of leaves and limbs have not been picked up yet either.

No parish wide brush/limb pick up in ascension. Check with your hauler they may offer it but I know Dales does not

i plan on calling acadian waste and finding this out tomorrow. I have a ton of branches and prefer not to go dumpster dumping

well, there are a couple places close to me that have dumpsters and i may just chunk that stuff in there..of course wait till late at night just in case..
where we use to live we didnt have trash pick up, they had sets of 6-10 dumpsters in an area and you hauled your trash there..you could bring anything out there..

I think my dad said the parish was going to start today picking up debris. I don't know about inside of city limits though (Gonzales & Sorrento).

Yard cleaned and mowed yesterday evening. I'm going to start a burn pile for the bigger stuff that I didn't mow over.
