The biggest thing with any of them (or any small engine) is not to leave fuel inthem for long periods. I always run mine empty before storing.
My Dad on the other hand never does this with his Husky and it starts right up just like you say.

I leave fuel in mine as well...but I do run stabil in all my lawn/yard equipment.
