re: Tahj Jones and Michael Ford not yet cleared to play

Miles’ said to the media on Monday:

On the academic eligibility of Michael Ford and Tahj Jones: “There is some appeal process that’s being undertaken for those guys. We’ll kind of have to wait and see how that all turns out as we get closer to the game.”

About who would fill Jones’ void if he doesn’t play, Miles said: “We think Luke Muncie is probably in that position with Tahj there or not. I think he’s had a great camp and we’re really looking at some of these young freshmen anyway. I think Kwon Alexander and Deion Jones, two young guys that step forward and have to play.”
