A couple of us drove down to Greenville, SC last night to watch the Asheville Tourists (Rockies Class A Affiliate) play the Greenville Drive (Red Sox Class A Affiliate). Matty Ott pitched three innings of relief for the Drive - no runs, no hits, one walk and two Ks. He's mostly used in a middle relief or set up role.

Sorry I missed that one, Blue Ridge. Had another gig (HS football). Ott's been pretty steady lately. The last time I remember him giving up a run was about a month ago, when someone hit one into the New York Life building patio off him. Other than that, he's been solid.
My guess is he'll probably get moved up to high-A next season or double-A.
