I. Wiley has been dismissed from USC for academic ineligibility. And has been removed from his scholarship. He is from Louisiana, (West Monroe). Since TM7 is gone, is it even legal to take or recruit this guy. He is a senior and he doesn't need a release from his scholarship to transfer or anything. Plus LSU aint no USC academically....

USC Requirements:
First-year applicants are evaluated on the content and rigor of their high school course work, their grades, standardized test scores, activity summary, essay, short answers and counselor/teacher recommendations. There are no absolute “cutoffs” or minimums for grades, rank in class, or test scores. We are interested in the interplay of these elements as well as your personal accomplishments and potential for success.

There are three factors that will be initially considered for admission to LSU.

Incoming freshman must have at least a 3.0 academic gpa calculated from academic core courses.
Students must also have completed at least 19 units of new Fall 2012 college-preparatory courses.
Applicants must have a minimum of SAT score (critical reading and math) of 1030 or at least a composite ACT score of 22.

yes. He was playing great at the end of the year and was one of the players SC fans were very excited about. Really sucks to lose him.

He made his way up to the number 2 corner at USC. I mean he could provide proven depth and experience and DB if he could come this year or next.

No. He wants to play now, which means Division 2. BTW, he is not dismissed. He just can't play this year. He is not going to wait a year to transfer. It's either wait to play for SC or Div 2.

Ahh....thanks for the info. Is this pretty a tough loss for Trojan D?

He was pretty good. But SC figured this for quite some time. Has not been on the field this summer so we have it filled. SOme say he is pretty much "permanently academically ineligible". If he can't pass summer school with a "tutor" it's a no go forever pretty much. With that said, we did find two others were ruled eligible including Marquis Simmons.

Probably true, now that I think about your statement.

BTW,I think Glenn's lost lost brother is SCott Wolfe, who covers SC. Both seem to elicit the same reactions from their "teams" fan bases.
